Kombiniertes Paket

Eine fundamentale EU-Ressource

Zwei sich ergänzende Lagerstätten im slowakischen Batteriegürtel — gemeinsam im Januar 2026 von der VMS Exploration s.r.o. erworben.

Location

Why Slovakia

EU Member State

Domestic extraction directly inside the European Union — fully aligned with the EU Critical Raw Materials Act's 10% domestic mandate for 2030.

Automotive Heartland

Slovakia produces more cars per capita than any country on Earth. VW-Porsche, Volvo-Northvolt, and InoBat are all within 240 km of the deposits.

Mature Mining Jurisdiction

Centuries of Slovak mining history. Established ŠGÚDŠ geological data, workforce, and supply-chain infrastructure.

⚠ Wichtige regulatorische Offenlegung: The historical resource estimates for both Svabovce and Michalova were published by the Slovak State Geological Institute (ŠGÚDŠ) under the GKZ classification system (A+B+C₁+C₂). These estimates are NICHT NI-43-101-konforme Mineralressourcen. A qualified person has not done sufficient work to classify these historical estimates as current mineral resources or mineral reserves. A NI 43-101 Technical Report for the Slovakia manganese assets is planned for Q4 2026 / Q1 2027.
Work Program

Development Timeline

Union Power Metals is in the early stages of advancing both Slovakia licences. The work program below represents our current planning intentions — specific activities and timing remain subject to review and may change as technical work progresses.

January 2026 ✓ Completed
Acquisition of Svabovce & Michalova Licences
Formal acquisition of both exploration licences in Slovakia — Svabovce (30.52 km²) and Michalova (14.99 km²) — establishing Union Power Metals as the licence holder for both deposits and initiating the regulatory compliance and technical review process.
Q2 2026 Planned
Confirmatory Drilling at Michalova
Confirmatory drilling program at Michalova to verify historic resource grades and begin systematic evaluation of the near-surface oxide ore and deeper carbonate seam. Drilling has not yet commenced; specific scope and execution details are still being determined. Likely to commence Q2 2026.
H2 2026 Planned
Metallurgical Testing & Resource Drilling
Metallurgical testwork to characterise the carbonate ore processing response for both deposits, alongside ongoing resource definition drilling. Specific program design will be informed by results from earlier confirmatory work. We have not yet decided what the full program will look like.
Late 2026–2027 Planned
NI 43-101 Resource Estimate & Economic Scoping
Preparation of a NI 43-101 compliant technical report and resource estimate for the Slovakia manganese assets, followed by internal economic scoping work to evaluate development pathways. Specific milestones and timing depend on the outcomes of earlier work programs and will be communicated to shareholders as planning advances.
Forward-Looking Statement: The development timeline above contains forward-looking statements based on current planning intentions. Actual activities, timing, and outcomes may differ materially. Union Power Metals makes no guarantee as to the completion of any specific work program item. All resource estimates referenced are historic GKZ-classified estimates — NICHT NI-43-101-konforme Mineralressourcen or mineral reserves.
