ESG Commitment
As an early-stage exploration company, Union Power Metals recognizes the importance of integrating environmental, social, and governance considerations into every aspect of our operations from the outset.
Our Slovakian manganese projects benefit from a carbonate-hosted ore type that requires 70–80% less energy to process compared to oxide ores — no roasting, lower CO₂ emissions, and fewer impurities. This structural advantage aligns our business model with Europe's decarbonization objectives.
We are committed to meaningful community engagement at all project sites, responsible environmental stewardship, and building a company culture rooted in transparency and accountability.
Environmental
Low-energy carbonate processing route. Committed to minimizing environmental impact throughout the project lifecycle. Full compliance with EU environmental regulations.
Social
Active community engagement programs in Slovakia and Botswana. Supporting local employment and economic development. Respectful of local cultures and traditions.
Governance
Independent board oversight. Robust compliance framework. Transparent disclosure practices. Aligned institutional shareholders focused on creating long-term value.
